Halong Bay. We saw one sunny afternoon here, but afterwards it got more and more misty. At intervals on our boat trip, we saw communities living in floating houses, making a living off fishing, and usually with a dog or two per household, who I imagine each felt like king of their island...
apparently pirates of one sort of another still inhabit caves and gullies in the area.

That's a good idea , if you don't get on with your new neighbours or just fancy a change of scene you could float your house into the next street, bay, sea - the possibilities are endless.
